Kanye West has reacted to Pete Davidson ’s ‘antagonising’ texts amid his ongoing drama with estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
The Saturday Night Live comedian, who has been dating Kim since November last year, allegedly reached out to the Gold Digger rapper in an effort to stop him from making unfounded claims against them.
Since the SKIMS founder began her romance with Pete, Kanye has made several wild allegations against the 28-year-old, and even told his 15.5 million followers to approach the actor - who he calls Skete - if they see him in public.
Over the weekend, Kanye publicly shared text messages he allegedly received from Pete on social media, in which he tells the rapper to stop making matters worse with his accusations aimed at estranged wife Kim.
“Yo it’s Skete, Can you please take a second and calm down. It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this,” Pete reportedly began.
“Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f***ing lucky that she’s your kids mum,” he added.
“Oh you using profanity, Where are you right now?” Kanye replied.
The comedian then sent a selfie, and teasingly added: “In bed with your wife.”
Kanye then touched upon Pete’s mental health struggles, and said he was happy to see “you’re out of the hospital and rehab”.
“Same here. It’s wonders what those places do when you go get help. You should try it. I’m in LA for the day if you wanna stop being a little internet b**** boy and talk,” he continued.
Pete said he was saddened to see Kanye “ruin his legacy”, and offered to meet up with him while he was in Los Angeles, suggesting they try to smooth things over following the rapper’s Sunday Service session.
“What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life. Please handle these matters privately bro I beg you,” Pete wrote, as he pleaded with Kanye to get professional help for the sake of his four kids - North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4 and Psalm, 2.
The King of Staten Island star also suggested he had stopped Saturday Night Live writers from making fun of Kanye, because “I don’t want the father of my girls kids to look bad out there”.
The screengrabs have been deleted by both Kanye and Pete’s friend Dave Sirius, who initially shared the texts, but the Life of Pablo hitmaker aired his grievances towards the comedian in a video on Instagram, which was also later deleted.
“The boyfriend texts me, antagonizing me, bragging about being in bed with my wife. I’m like, well, who’s watching my children if he’s texting me, bragging about being in bed with my wife?” he fired.
Kanye then took aim at Kim, as he shared his frustration over North using TikTok.
“I said, ‘I am not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney.’ I have a say… There’s no such thing as 50/50 custody in society today. … It always leans towards the mom,” he fumed.
