Kanye West is giving estranged wife Kim Kardashian the divorce she wants at a court hearing later today so he can focus on their “beautiful children”.
The US rapper was all set for a showdown with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, but it seems he’s had a last-minute change of heart.
Kim, 41, wants to be declared legally single, even though financial and custody issues have yet to be resolved in the case.
She was expected to ask a judge to order it, as Kanye, 44, didn’t want to be divorced and has made several attempts to win her back.
But following their very public war of words recently – in which Kanye shared personal text messages between them on social media – the Donda singer appears to have made an unexpected U-turn.
In a statement to Hollywood Unlocked, Kayne said: “I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children.”

Kim and Kanye have been married for seven years and share four children; North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and two-year-old Psalm.
The couple split in January 2021 and Kim officially filed for divorce a month later.
For a while things seemed very amicable and there was even talk of them reconciling.
But in recent weeks Kanye has publicly lashed out at Kim and shared private messages between them on his Instagram account.
He has also made public digs about Kim’s new boyfriend, Saturday Night Live comic Pete Davidson.
Kanye let rip at Pete, 28, in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts branding him a "d***head", mocking his Hillary Clinton tattoo and sharing a private message from him.
Despite being warned by ex Kim he was "creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be [his] fault", Kanye returned to criticising the comedian.
The rapper’s change of tune comes as Kim filed new court documents claiming his social media posts detailing their marriage issues were causing her “emotional distress”.
In documents obtained by TMZ, Kim states: "I very much desire to be divorced.
“Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress."
A source close to Kim told MailOnline all she wanted to do was “co-parent in a healthy manner”.
The insider said: “Kim is concerned about how public everything has been with his social posts and how this will ultimately affect the kids one day when they grow up and might see all of this.
“At the end of the day, no matter how challenging things are between them, she always wants to view Kanye in the best light and have the best relationship with him.
“She was incredibly close to her father growing up and only wants that for her own children.”
