Kanye West is seething after Kim Kardashian shunned his latest offer to meet for a drink, reports claim.
It's suggested the Flashing Lights rapper, 45, had asked his ex-wife to meet him while the pair were both in New York. However, Kim reportedly declined the request as she wanted to avoid any further arguments after Ye had publicly called out the reality TV star and her mum Kris Jenner in recent weeks.
While Kim, 41, was attending New York Fashion week, it's thought the musician reached out to her at the last-minute as he was also in town at VOGUE World: New York.
His request is said to have fallen on deaf ears, though, with the SKIMS founder deciding to swerve any potential get together.
A source told The Sun : "He called her up while there suggesting they do dinner - she told him her schedule was full.
"He wouldn't let it up and kept trying for a late night drink. That's made him even madder, because she's disrespected him according to his philosophy.
"But she knows it would just be more rants about schools, about the kids using social media."
And while the source added that it's not worth arguing with the rapper, another said the fact Kim was only in town for 24 hours scuppered any potential meeting.
Other sources claimed the real reason behind Ye's rage was the fact Kim was one of many celebs at Beyonce's star-studded birthday party, while he didn't make the guest list. One told the publication: "It was Kim and Khloe attending Beyonce's Birthday bash, and not Kanye - which really rubbed the rapper up the wrong way."
They claimed there had since been a lot of angry messages sent by the Gold Digger rapper to Kim, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z.
Kanye not being invited shouldn't have been a huge surprise, however, given the fact he fell out with music mogul Jay-Z years ago. The pair's feud is said to have started after the 99 Problems singer said his former best pal criticised the Single Ladies songstress in public.
In 2017, Jay-Z rapped on his song Kill Jay-Z: "It’s just the truth of what happened. The whole point is, ‘You got hurt because this person was talking about you on a stage.’ But what really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it."
And in a rare interview at the time, he told Tidal: "Kanye’s my little brother. But you brought my family into it. That’s a real, real problem. He crossed the line."
The Mirror has contacted representatives of both Kim and Kanye for comment.
