Kanye West took steps to prove to his 12.1 million Instagram followers that it was him behind a series of ranting posts over the course of Sunday evening.
The rapper, 44, took aim at Pete Davidson in a string of posts on the social media channel and went on to post a snapshot of himself to let his fans know it was him posting.
Kanye, who is now legally known as Ye, held up a piece of paper with a handwritten note saying: "My account is not hacked. 2 13 22."
He posted three images of himself holding up the page, with two having his head covered in his now regular style.
He captioned the post: "My account is not hacked. I will be at Sunday service at noon and will me [sic] taking North and Saint to the Superbowl shortly after.
"@chethinks I'll double whatever they paying you just so you don't have to look at that pawn ever again. Big love."
However, Pete's Saturday Night Live co-star Michael Che was having none of Ye's offer and replied on his own account with a series of jokey notes of his own, which read: "Sorry Ye, but I would never betray my friends... for anything less than triple salary."
Che continued, "That’s right, $90k per year!"
He went on to tease his list of demands: "Full medical. Full dental. Four weeks vacay. Corner office. Plus, a pair of Red Octobers. Size 12.
“And you gotta make some beats for my band The Slap Butts. And you gotta tell me what you’re gonna wear to work the night before so we can look like twins.
"You do that for me, and I’ll Rambo that whole building."
Kanye had uploaded a series of rants blasting his estranged wife Kim Kardashian's new beau Pete.
In one instance the All Falls Down star let rip at the comic, branding him a "d***head" and mocking his Hillary Clinton tattoo.
He also went on to share a message from Pete, who appeared to be reacting to Kanye's remarks.
Sharing a close-up of the DM, Pete appeared to be saying that he would never get in the way of him and his children and that how he and Kim Kardashian raised their kids was their business not him.
Pete ended the - what seemed like - rather polite message by saying: "I do hope that one day I can meet them and we can all be friends."
But it appeared as though the rapper had different ideas as he declared: "NO YOU WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN."
Kanye has since shared videos of him at the Superbowl as the drama continues to rumble on.
