Kanayo Megwa has opened up on his ultimate aim at Hibs as he admitted there is 'no margin for error' in the first team.
The 18-year-old made the switch to Easter Road in the summer of 2021 and hit the ground running in the capital by winning the Under-18 Elite Youth League in his first season at the club. That title triumph led to qualification for the UEFA Youth League, with the Under-19s excelling in the competition and they are now set to face Borussia Dortmund next month.
His displays for both the development team and in Europe have caught the eye of top team boss Lee Johnson who has included the youngster in his matchday squads on several occasions this campaign, an experience he has been relishing as he set himself the target of being a regular feature in the squad as he admitted to 'loving it' at Hibs.

He told the official club website: “I have been loving it here at Hibs. Ever since I came here, I have become more and more comfortable with the rest of the team and all the coaches and I am really enjoying my football at the moment.
“Training with the first-team has been really good for me as well. First-team training is a whole different tempo, but it is great for me to see what kind of level you need to be at to make it in the team.
“The standard of everything is much higher, there is no margin for error and it is obviously much more physically demanding too.
“My main goal is to break into that first-team on a regular basis so it has been great to be involved with the squad.”
