Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese have not played together in the regular season, but that could change very soon. Cardoso finally has a working date that she will likely make her rookie debut, and it comes with a surprising twist.
Since being drafted at No.3 and No.7 overall, fans have been buzzing about the thought of Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese playing together. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury in the preseason changed the expectations for what this duo could immediately do, and Angel had to make her debut without Kamilla.
However, Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon confirmed Tuesday that Kamilla will return to the court on Saturday, June 1. What’s so significant about about that date? It’s the same day that the Sky will play Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.
“I’m gonna go with what Kamilla says.” Weatherspoon said when asked if Cardoso’s livestream reveal was accurate.
