The family of a man murdered at his west London home today appealed for information to help bring his killer to justice.
Kamil Malysz, 34, was knifed to death on 17 January, 2019.
Homicide Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continue to hunt for Patryk Makuch, 37, who is a Polish national wanted under a European Arrest Warrant in connection with the murder.
Makuch is believed to have access to properties throughout Europe and police are offering a reward of £20,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Kamil’s family is appealing for people in their home country of Poland to come forward with information. It is believed the killer fled the country after the killing in Acton.
His family said: “More than three years have passed now and we still don’t have justice for Kamil’s murder.
"Someone must have information about where his killer is hiding. We are just asking you to think how you would feel if it was your loved one – please pass on anything you know to the police.”
Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said: “We released footage of Makuch boarding a Eurostar train at St Pancras International station on 23 January 2019 just 12 hours after Kamil was attacked. He has been on the run ever since.
“As Kamil’s family continue to live with their loss, Patryk Makuch remains free which only adds to the family’s anguish.
“We have worked hard to trace Makuch’s steps, but despite the considerable efforts made, he has never been located.
“Kamil was just 34 when he was fatally stabbed at a flat in Alfred Road in Acton. His life was brutally taken from him and we are as determined as ever to find Makuch and place him before the courts.
