Kamaru Usman and YouTube star Jake Paul have argued over what would happen if the pair were locked in a room together.
Usman and Paul have clashed on Twitter after the UFC champion has recently called out Canelo Alvarez. Paul pointed out a contradiction after Usman claimed boxing is "dying" despite pushing for a fight with the pound-for-pound No.1
The UFC star then told Paul: "You’re really good at this internet tough guy s*** I give you that. Twi questions for you… 1. You & Me locked in a room who makes it out alive? 2. Saul & I locked in a room who makes it out alive? I like your energy though."
Paul then mocked Usman in his reply by posting an edited picture of his lone MMA loss, writing: "Me and you locked in a room together… sounds like a good time to me, I’ll bring the fuzzy handcuff".
Usman is unlikely to get the crossover clash he wants with Alvarez after UFC boss Dana White labelled it a "horrible fight". Alvarez is also scheduled to fight this weekend and in September, whilst Usman will likely defend his belt against Leon Edwards in July.
'The Nigerian Nightmare' has been suggested as a potential opponent for Paul after the 25-year-old has been pushing for a fight with several UFC stars. Usman has dismissed the matchup whilst criticising Paul for the amount of pay-per-views his fights sell, with his last fight only doing 65,000 buys according to reports.
"Jake Paul doesn't equate to money," he told SPORTbible. "Jake Paul equates to eyes, yes, of course you get eyes on you because all these kids and the new age that follow him.

"But his last three fights combined didn't do my pay-per-view numbers for my last fight, so if he can't guarantee me eight figures there's no point in even talking to me about it."
When pushed on whether he would fight the YouTube star, Usman then jokingly said: ""Yes, just to kick his butt. We're a different breed of fighters and now he's in a different era of combat sport."
Paul recently announced he will return to the ring on August 13 having not fought since knocking out ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley. 'The Problem Child' could entertain a rescheduled clash with Tommy Fury after their fight fell through last December.
