Georgia has already seen a record number of early voters, with over 310,000 people casting their votes on the first day of early voting. The longstanding friendship between Harris and the Obamas dates back two decades, with Harris supporting Obama during his U.S. Senate campaign in 2000 and his presidential bid in 2008.
