Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is set to debut a new radio ad this weekend aimed at engaging Black voters in six crucial battleground states. The ad, titled 'Foundation,' highlights Harris' upbringing in a middle-class family and her commitment to reducing everyday expenses to help Americans not just survive, but thrive.
The 60-second ad emphasizes Harris' roots in a middle-class household, where her working mother instilled in her a deep-seated dedication to justice and equality. It showcases Harris' track record as a district attorney, where she prioritized child safety by prosecuting sex offenders and spearheaded initiatives to offer nonviolent drug offenders a chance at redemption.
This radio spot is part of a substantial seven-figure investment in paid media for the remainder of August. It is scheduled to air in six swing states crucial to the upcoming election: Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nevada.
In addition to the 60-second ad, a shorter 30-second version will also be broadcast on prominent national radio stations and popular shows such as 'The Breakfast Club,' 'The Morning Hustle,' Urban One radio network, Steve Harvey, DL Hughley, Rickey Smiley, and Erica Campbell.
