Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips posed with international superstar Stormzy at the First Direct Arena last night. The show was the third instalment of the London MC's tour after playing in Cardiff and Newcastle earlier this week.
Phillips posed for a picture with Stormzy backstage after giving the musician a 'Leeds welcome.' Unlike his trip to Newcastle, Stormzy did not don a Leeds United shirt with the Grime star a diehard Manchester United fan.
Nonetheless the pair put rivalries aside for a picture with the Whites midfielder also handing Jesse Marsch's side a much needed an injury boost ahead of their trip to Wolves. The Leeds boss said that both Phillips and Liam Cooper were back in contention for the trip to Molineux tomorrow.
When asked what role Phillips could play if he were to feature tomorrow night, Marsch said: "We had a good conversation and he said it's not too dissimilar to what he does with England alongside Rice. Similar things with pressing and counter-pressing, Kalvin's intelligent. Adjust quickly. Had a really good session yesterday, as did Liam. Really excited to get them on the pitch.
"Same as Patrick. Make a plan and stick to the plan. I am very disciplined when it comes to managing the players physically. Need a fully-fit and healthy team."
