Liverpool will not rush Kaide Gordon back into action as he continues to recover from a pelvic problem.
Gordon, who made his first-team breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp last season, hasn't featured at any level for the Reds since appearing in the 3-0 Premier League 2 defeat at Leeds United on February 7.
Mystery has subsequently surrounded his absence, although it has now emerged the 17-year-old winger has been troubled by a pelvic injury linked to his physical growth.

Liverpool have been keeping a careful eye on the issue with the player following his own specialised training programme. The Reds have not placed any timeline on his comeback, but Gordon is understood to now be closer to making a return to action.
While he was part of the first-team squad that travelled to Austria in the summer, there was never any chance of the youngster featuring in a friendly match with the coaching staff instead keen for him to continue his rehabilitation while being part of the team bonding exercises.
Gordon, who was signed from Derby County for a potential £3million in February 2021, was given a full senior debut the following September when he played the full 90 minutes of the League Cup third round win at Norwich City.
In January, the teenager scored his first goal in the 4-1 FA Cup third round triumph at home to Shrewsbury Town and started the League Cup semi-final second leg victory at Arsenal, four days after making his Premier League bow as a late substitute in the 3-0 win over Brentford at Anfield.
