Chelsea have already been told why they will not lose both Timo Werner and Kai Havertz this summer with the latter already admitting that the 'vision' of the club will be enough for him to reject a potential Bayern Munich approach amid uncertainty.
With the cog of the takeover now in full works, players' futures are starting to be discussed with the former RB Leipzig man being the talk of the week with conflicting reports surfacing regarding his immediate future. Regardless of what happens with Werner, it's safe to say he hasn't lived up to expectations since his £49.5million move under the Frank Lampard era despite his mostly positive mindset.
After 80 appearances for the Blues, Werner has just 19 goals. And only seven of those have been struck this season. The hope that accompanied his arrival has long dissipated. The belief in his goalscoring prowess - in the Premier League at least - has very much been extinguished. Still, supporters have not turned on the 26-year-old. However, his comments during the international break on Chelsea and Germany may have been seen by fans as a low blow with the versatile forward now ready to pack his bags this summer if the right offer was to come in.

That would mean it would be one German down and with Antonio Rudiger's agent holding talks with Barcelona, there could potentially be a German exodus from the club this summer but what will Havertz? In his own words, he trusts the 'vision' of the club unlike Werner and this would be enough for the 22-year-old to stay put and be part of the post-Roman Abramovich era.
Something that will come as music to the ears of Blues supporters who would have been worried about the prospect of Bayern Munich pouncing on this uncertainty after the latest Bild column had urged the Bavarians to do just that. Journalist Raimund Hinko wrote: "Help yourself to the disintegrating Chelsea. And not with just anyone, but with Kai Havertz personally, for whom it didn't work out in 2020.
"Yes, dear ‘Brazzo’ Salihamidzic, you can now take revenge on Marina Granovskaia. The Chelsea boss has danced on your nose enough times, shown you off with relish tugging at Callum Hudson-Odoi and made fun of you. But now her empire is falling apart, and after the departure of the oligarch Roman Abramovich, many things are threatening to fall apart. Even if a new investor signs on, there will be severe turbulence.
"You at Bayern shouldn't have any scruples. Too often the English have snootily laughed at you with all their money." Chelsea's iconic number 29 has already responded to this plea in an immaculate fashion with his explanation of why he chose the west Londoners over Bayern Munich in the first place.
“It was important to me to have a club with a vision. An exciting change is taking place. We are a young team with many great players. We think offensively,” the 22-year-old told BILD via the Daily Express soon after arriving at Stamford Bridge from Bayer Leverkusen. We want to build something up here and attack. That motivates me a lot. And then it is a title with Chelsea is worth a lot more.
“I was always impressed with his (Lampard) scoring threat. I found that outstanding for a midfielder. That’s what I want to measure myself against. The fact that he was so successful and at the same time so personable impresses me.”
