K. Radhakrishnan meets Stalin

Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes K. Radhakrishnan met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in Chennai on Sunday. The two leaders discussed issues affecting both the States at the meeting held at the DMK headquarters ‘Anna Arivalayam.’

Tamil Nadu Water Resources Minister Durai Murugan, Minister for Higher Education K. Ponmudi, and Minister for Labour Welfare C.V. Ganesan took part in the discussions. Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] Tamil Nadu State unit secretary K. Balakrishnan accompanied them.

Mr. Radhakrishnan met Mr. Stalin to invite him on behalf of the CPI(M) for a seminar on ‘Central-State ties’ as part of the party’s 23rd congress. The invitation letter was also handed over to Mr. Stalin. Mr. Radhakrishnan draped Mr. Stalin with a ‘ponnada’ and presented a Kathakali sculpture.
