Juventus vs Atletico Madrid
(0-2 aggregate)
Uefa Champions League 2018-19 | Round of 16, second leg
Venue: Juventus Stadium, Turin
Date: Tuesday, March 12, 2019
Kick-off: 8pm GMT
Juventus have it all to do in the second leg of their last-16 tie against Atletico Madrid, with the Italian giants on the verge of an early Champions League exit.
The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo was meant to inspire Juve to finally win the trophy that has eluded them since 1986, but the Bianconeri must turn around a 2-0 reverse in Turin.
Late goals from Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin saw Diego Simeone's Atleti side win convincingly in the Spanish capital, and Massimiliano Allegri now needs a near-miracle in Italy to turn this tie around.
Atletico Madrid vs Juventus team news and predicted line-ups
Diego Costa and Thomas Partey are both suspended for Atletico, while Diego Godin (thigh) and Filipe Luis (calf) are injury doubts.
Atletico XI: Oblak, Juanfran, Godin, Gimenez, Luis, Koke, Rodri, Saul, Lemar, Morata, Griezmann
Alex Sandro is suspended for Juve. Full-back Mattia De Sciglio (muscle) is a doubt along with Sami Khedira, Juan Cuadrado and Douglas Costa.
Juventus XI: Szczesny, Cancelo, Chiellini, Bonucci, De Sciglio, Bentancur, Pjanic, Matuidi, Dybala, Mandzukic, Ronaldo
Score prediction: Juventus 1-0 Atletico Madrid - Atleti to qualify
Atletico's domestic form may cost them the Spanish title, with a near-perfect home form being undone by too many away draws.
However, that form could ultimately see them land the Champions League trophy, as Simeone will be confident of beating any side at home and shipping few away goals.
Juventus will throw everything at Atleti - and you wouldn't bet against Ronaldo scoring - but the Spanish side are unlikely to concede twice away from home in such a huge game.

Head to Head history and results (h2h)
This will be just the fourth meeting between these two sides, with Juve yet to beat Atleti.
After being paired in the group stage during the 2014-15 season, Arda Turan’s goal secured a win for Atletico at the Vicente Calderon.
Atletico travelled to Italy and left with a point after a goalless draw.
