Juveniles Arrested In Connection With Bank Robbery In Houston

Three juveniles arrested for bank robbery in Houston.

Authorities in Texas have taken three juveniles into custody in connection with a recent bank robbery in Houston. The suspects, aged 11, 12, and 16, were apprehended following their alleged involvement in a robbery at a Wells Fargo bank located in Houston's Greenspoint area.

The incident took place last week when the trio reportedly entered the bank on the North Freeway and West Road and demanded cash by passing a threatening note to a teller. Although no weapons were displayed during the robbery, authorities indicated that the suspects were believed to be armed.

After the robbery, the FBI Houston referred to the juveniles as the 'little rascals' in a social media post announcing their arrest. The suspects have been charged with robbery by threat at the local level, and due to their status as juveniles, their identities have not been disclosed to the public.

According to reports from KTRK-TV, the parents of two of the boys turned them in to authorities after surveillance photos of the suspects were released by the FBI. The third suspect was recognized and apprehended following an unrelated altercation. Additionally, law enforcement recovered a weapon during the investigation.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is currently handling the case and is conducting further inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the bank robbery. While specific details about the amount of cash stolen have not been disclosed, the authorities are actively investigating the matter to ensure a thorough resolution.
