Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson suffered a chest injury in the second quarter and was brought back to the locker room for examination.
After the beginning of the third quarter, the Fox broadcast announced that Jefferson was being transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
With Jefferson having a chest injury, it could be a lot of different things. The Pioneer Press’ Dane Mizutani said that it is out of precaution, which should ease some concern for Jefferson.
In his first game back from injury, Jefferson caught two passes for 27 yards. Not the return he and the Vikings were hoping for.
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
