Justin Jefferson Transported to Hospital After Suffering Injury in First Game Since Week 5

Justin Jefferson’s triumphant return to action prematurely ended due to injury in Week 14 as the Vikings superstar was forced to the sidelines early against the Raiders.

The Vikings ruled Jefferson out, who missed the past seven games, after the veteran receiver was diagnosed with a chest injury. The All-Pro sustained the injury in the second quarter and was initially listed as questionable before the downgrade.

The concerning update was followed by another troubling report regarding Jefferson’s health, with the Fox broadcast announcing the 24-year-old was set to be transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

As of publication, there have been no additional updates on Jefferson’s status, though his trip to the hospital is only believed to be precautionary, per multiple reports.

After missing nearly two months of action with a hamstring injury, Jefferson will now face another frustrating setback in his attempt to resume playing in the midst Minnesota’s stretch run.

Prior to exiting, Jefferson recorded two catches for 27 yards.
