Justin Jefferson has another stellar first half

In the first half of the season opener against Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has seven receptions on ten targets for 138 yards.

According to the Vikings Communications & PR team, this is the 12th time that Jefferson has had 100+ receiving yards before the half. Those 12 instances lead the league since Jefferson entered the league in 2020.

Jefferson came into this game without a long-term extension. Both sides said that they will revisit the manner at the end of the season.

Jefferson immediately made a strong case to become the highest-paid wide receiver whenever that time comes.

From the second drive of this game, Cousins and Jefferson had been on one accord and the passing offense of the Vikings has reaped the benefits. Cousins finished the half 22-of-29 for 273 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Tampa Bay receives the ball first in the second half but the Vikings pass offense is set to put up impressive numbers by the end of this game.
