Bears fans don’t need a reminder about how their team has been on the wrong side of the Bears-Packers rivalry for the better part of the last decade-plus.
But here it is anyway: Chicago trails the series 3-23 dating back to 2011, which includes wins in 2013, 2015 and 2018. The Bears are currently on an eight-game losing streak, which they’re looking to break during Sunday’s season opener at Soldier Field.

Justin Fields was asked about the opportunity to flip the script with this rivalry. But the third-year quarterback isn’t concerned about the past.
“It’s Week 1. It’s the most important game,” Fields said. “I’m not looking towards history. I’m looking at now.”
As for the present, Sunday’s matchup presents an opportunity for the Bears to get off to a 1-0 start and a victory against a division opponent.
All eyes will be on Fields, who’s expected to take a step forward in his development, especially in the passing game. Chicago will need a big day from Fields to help take down their arch rivals.
