Justin Bieber postpones all remaining US legs of Justice World Tour following Ramsay Hunt diagnosis

Justin Bieber has postponed all his remaining US shows for his world tour after suffering from a condition that causes facial paralysis.

The pop singer, 28, recently posted a video online revealing the side of his face is frozen with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

All his remaining US Justice tour shows scheduled to take place in June and July have been axed, he has announced.

A statement on Twitter reads: “In light of Justin’s ongoing recovery, the remaining US Justice tour shows scheduled for June and early July will be postponed.

“Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is upbeat about his recovery, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing for his fans overseas later this summer.

“Details on rescheduled US dates will be made public shortly. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. Tickets will be honored for all rescheduled dates.’

The syndrome is due to viral reactivation and is one of 60 causes of facial palsy, or facial paralysis.

Justin previously told fans he had been doing facial exercises to regain movement, after upcoming dates on his tour were cancelled.

“For those frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically, obviously not capable of doing them,” he explained on a video.

“My body’s telling me I’ve got to slow down. I hope you guys understand.”

In an interview with Good Morning America, his wife Hailey described his diagnosis as a "very scary and random situation" but said his condition was improving.
