Justin Bieber Is Struggling To Trust People After Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Case Details Emerge

CONTENT WARNING: This article discusses alleged sexual assault and trafficking.

Justin Bieber is seemingly isolating himself from those close to him and is finding it tough to trust the people in his inner circle

Sources have told Page Six that Bieber is now “battling the ghosts of his past”, as he has been drawn into speculation surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest. Videos of the pair have since resurfaced, showing the disgraced rapper appearing on TV with Bieber when he was just a teen.

“Do I believe he was involved in some stupid shit? Yeah,” an industry insider who claims to have worked with Bieber’s team for years said.

“He was a teenager. He was the biggest pop star in the world. Everyone was worried about him, and we didn’t know if he would survive it. People took advantage of everything he did.”

Another source said while Bieber was young, his actions may have had an impact on his relationships.

“Justin’s done some really crazy shit and he’s alienated the people around him. He doesn’t trust them,” the source claimed.

A separate industry insider told Page Six that “family members are concerned about Justin” with all the videos coming to light.

“It’s unclear whether Diddy would have taken advantage of Justin at the time as his family was nearby, and his manager Scooter Braun really did care about him,” the insider claimed. “But saying that, Justin did go through a really bad period, a very rebellious phase.”

Another member of his inner circle told In Touch Weekly that “no one knows what’s going on with Justin”.

“It’s like he’s fallen off the map since Diddy’s arrest and all the sick details coming out. People are genuinely worried about him,” they added.

So what exactly happened in these videos of Bieber and Diddy? In 2016, the pair appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when Bieber was just 16 years old. At the time, Diddy joked about what they got up to in secret, saying: “[Bieber] knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television… everything ain’t for everybody.”

In another clip, Diddy appears to be patting Bieber down before he’s allowed to get on his private plane, with many fans speculating Diddy was looking for a wire.

The most concerning video, though, is when Diddy alludes to “crazy” activities he has planned for himself and Bieber.

“Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” Diddy said in the video. “I have been given custody of him. I don’t have legal guardianship of him, but for the next 48 hours, he’s with me, and we’re gonna go full crazy.”

Bieber recently welcomed his newborn son Jack Blues with his wife Hailey Bieber in August. While it’s said to be a time of happiness, the singer has been looking thinner than usual when out and about in recent times.

It’s unlikely the Biebers will make a statement about the Diddy case, but hopefully, the young family can deal with the allegations coming out in peace.

Diddy faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper is currently held in prison without bail and his trial date has been set for May 5, 2025.
