Justin Bieber has been criticised for his role in his wife's apparent beef with Selena Gomez as fans hurled abuse his way at a recent outing.
The Baby singer, 29, was targeted by onlookers at a festival at the weekend with revellers shouting obscenities such as "f*** Hailey Bieber" at the star.
Despite cancelling his Justice World Tour last week due to health reasons, the singer was at the Rolling Loud Festival in California on Saturday and gave a surprise performance.
But rather than the cheers he is so used to, the pop star was greeted to heckles. It's said to be unclear as to whether he heard the chants as he went on with his set.
It comes as his wife Hailey, 26, has been criticised for allegedly mocking actress Selena, 30. It has led to her losing over a million followers on her Instagram account.
The so-called feud leads back to 2018 when Justin proposed to Hailey just two months after permanently splitting from his on-off girlfriend at the time, Selena.
It's thought that the pair have certainly not seen eye-to-eye since, with the allegations rearing their head once again in recent weeks.
Footage of Hailey mocking Selena's pal Taylor Swift resurfaced on TikTok, with Selena commenting on one video: "So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game."
It led to fans of Selena labelling Hailey a "mean girl".
Justin was also slammed for being "petty" after seemingly taking aim at his ex-girlfriend while celebrating his 29th birthday.
The singer hosted a birthday party over the weekend and handed out special party favours to guests, gifting his loved ones lighters with the words: "I'm so thankful that I didn't end up with what I thought I wanted."
Following the speculation, Selena also took to social media to explain to her fans how her "heart has been heavy" amid the unnecessary drama.
"Please, please be kinder and consider others' mental health," she said. "My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love."
In another comment, Selena added: "Thank you and love you all so much, I'm deeply grateful for each and every one of you humans. You make me unbelievably happy."
