Just in Time for Halloween, Maison Margiela Premieres a Horror Vignette in Place of a Runway Show

John Galliano's 2024 Artisanal Collection show for Maison Margiela is now the stuff of fashion legend. The collection, including the glass skin beauty looks created by Pat McGrath, is so amazing that it earned a second showing back in March. Now instead of presenting a runway show during Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025, Maison Margiela just released a horror vignette.

Nighthawk reveals how Galliano created the now infamous haute couture collection and show in chilling detail. Since it's Galliano, even watching the flick is an experience. A string quartet set the tone at the Cinéma Le Balzac, then the film directed by Sasha Kasiuha began. The designer describes how he put together the presentation with Kim Kardashian and McGrath providing voice-overs. Because every horror movie needs a good jump scare, at one point a male character leaped from the screen into the theater, stabbing one of the seats with scissors.

The fashion house will host additional screenings of Nighthawk in various cities, but you can see select scenes via the brand's Instagram.
