Timber's agent spotted in Manchester
Jurrien Timber's agent has teased United supporters by revealing he is in the city to 'work' this week.
Erik ten Hag made the Ajax defender his preferred centre-back recruit this summer, while United prioritised Timber as their top defensive target. The 21-year-old is capable of playing at right-back as well as centre-back and United intend to strengthen both positions with Aaron Wan-Bissaka available for transfer.

However, it is understood Dutch international Timber has reservations about a move to Old Trafford because he doesn't want to jeopardise his place at international level ahead of the World Cup.

Neville responds to jibe at Glazers criticism
Gary Neville has hit back at Simon Jordan after the former Crystal Palace chairman criticised him for calling out United’s owners.
Neville hit out at the Glazers on Twitter as they prepare to take £11million out of the club this Friday. Despite being worth an estimated $3.1billion, the American owners have regularly taken large sums out of United.
Former United captain Neville has been vocal in his criticism of the owners, particularly as the club have been in decline over the years. It was announced last month that United’s debts had risen to nearly £500m, while major improvements are needed on and off the pitch.
