Jurrien Timber addresses biggest Arsenal concern ahead of Chelsea showdown

Jurrien Timber is convinced Arsenal’s luck in front of goal will turn when they travel to Chelsea on Sunday.

Arsenal were beaten 1-0 by Inter Milan on Wednesday night and have now lost three of their last six games.

Mikel Arteta’s side have struggled for goals during that poor run of form. scoring just six times of which three came against lower-league Preston in the Carabao Cup.

Arsenal had 20 shots against Inter and failed to score, however, Timber is not worried and believes things will turn.

“At the end, we felt confident, we had a couple of tough matches,” he said. “On Sunday will be tough again but I believe in our squad, we have a lot of quality, just need a little bit of luck in scoring more goals. have a lot of trust in our team and we’ll be fine for sure.

“It’s very tough. Very frustrating for us. I think we played a good game, we dominated a lot but we didn’t score. In the Champions League, you have to score if you want to win. It’s a tough away game and small moments can decide a game.”

Arteta shares Timber’s confidence going into Sunday’s game at Stamford Bridge as Arsenal seek a win that will breathe life into their title charge.

The Gunners could be 10 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool by kick-off on Sunday, if Arne Slot’s side beat Aston Villa on Saturday night.

“If we play the way we play, we‘ll have a big chance to win against Chelsea,” said Arteta. “That’s the way we have to go.

“I told them that I’m proud of them. I haven‘t seen them play in Europe in the manner that we have today. We are disappointed because we didn’t get what we wanted out of the game, that’s for sure.”
