Jurors in the trial were presented with a voided check dated February 14, 2017, made out to Michael Cohen from a revocable trust, with the amount of $70,000. The check, although stamped as void, was explained by Deborah Tarasoff to have occurred due to the check being photocopied. Despite the VOID stamp, the check itself was not void.
