During a recent jury selection process, a dismissed juror shared his experience of being in the courtroom for the trial involving former President Donald Trump. The juror, who chose to remain anonymous for safety reasons, described the proceedings as moving quickly from zero to sixty.
Upon entering the courtroom, the juror was met with a stern gaze from Trump himself. He then went through a questionnaire and was questioned by Defense Attorney Todd Blanche, whom he praised for his skillful questioning. However, the prosecution reportedly ran out of time and did not get a chance to question the juror.
Inside the jury room, discussions arose among potential jurors about the district attorneys' attorneys potentially mismanaging their time. The juror attended the proceedings on Monday and Tuesday but was eventually struck from the jury without being given a reason.
Notably, the former president appeared more engaged on the first day of the trial compared to the second day when he seemed more disinterested. The juror observed Trump briefly showing interest when a couple of blond women entered the courtroom.
Furthermore, during lunch on Tuesday, concerns arose among the jury pool as reports surfaced that some media outlets had published identity-revealing information, causing unease among the potential jurors.
