Jurickson Profar trolled Dodgers fans and the broadcast after stunningly robbing Mookie Betts of a home run

As amazing as it must be to hit a home run in the postseason, it’s tough to beat robbing someone of a home run as a visiting player. It’s the kind of moment that every outfielder dreams about, so you just know that Jurickson Profar had his reaction ready to go.

During Sunday’s Game 2 of the NLDS between the Padres and Dodgers, it looked like Mookie Betts had tied the game with a first-inning solo shot to left. Betts was in his home run trot. The Fox broadcast even displayed a home run graphic. Dodger Stadium was in a frenzy.

But no, it was all part of Profar’s plan. He had an entire stadium/broadcast/dugout fooled.

Profar leaped into the stands to make the catch over the left-field wall. But instead of immediately throwing the ball back, he faced the Dodgers fans and basically taunted them.

It was such a wild sequence, and after a catch like that, Profar earned the right to enjoy every second of it.
