Liverpool are being linked with a move for Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill.
The Reds have already been credited with an interest in another player of the Stamford Bridge outfit in recent months. Mason Mount continues to be heavily linked with a summer transfer to Anfield.
While midfield is the area of the pitch that the majority of transfer speculation has been focused on when it comes to Liverpool, there have also been rumours about potential defensive reinforcements. Colwill is the latest such player to be credited as a possible target for the Reds.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool are monitoring the centre-back ahead of the summer transfer window. Colwill is currently on loan at Brighton, and is impressing with his performances for the Seagulls.
The report states that Liverpool are keen on signing a player who can play as a left-sided centre-back, or on the left side of a back three. It has been claimed that the Reds see Colwill as an ideal player that fits this description.
It has also been reported that Liverpool coaches have been left impressed by Colwill’s performances this season, including when he played against the Reds in their 3-0 defeat in the Premier League in January.
Despite Colwill currently being on loan at the Amex Stadium, it’s been reported that Brighton do not have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
