Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool were aware of the chaos outside the stadium that marred their Champions League final against Real Madrid in Paris.
The kick-off was delayed by more than 35 minutes after tens of thousands of Reds supporters were prevented from being allowed into the Stade de France on Saturday due to major organisational problems.
Social media footage showed some supporters being subject to tear gas and pepper spray from French police while there were reports of further heavy-handedness from the authorities.

UEFA initially blamed the late arrival of fans before later pointing the finger at ticketless supporters for the issues. Liverpool have requested a formal investigation.
And when asked what he knew about the problems, Klopp said: “Not a lot, I couldn’t speak to my family yet. I know the families had real struggles to get in the stadium for reasons I don’t know yet.
“I’m told there will be further investigations to figure out what’s going on there. I heard a few things that were not good, not nice. It was obviously pretty tricky out there but I don’t know more about it.”
A significant number of supporters with tickets failed to make it into the stadium to watch the game, which Liverpool lost 1-0.
