Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Stefan Bajcetic will miss Liverpool’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid tomorrow night.
Bajcetic did not take part in his side’s final training session before the game at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday afternoon, however he was later pictured boarding the club’s flight to Spain from John Lennon Airport.
The midfielder, who only turned 18 in October, has forced his way into Liverpool's starting XI in recent months and has been a rare bright spark in what has otherwise been a disappointing campaign for the Reds so far.

But when asked if the Spanish youngster will be available for selection, Klopp revealed he would not as he has picked up a 'stress response' injury in his adductor.
“No,” the Liverpool boss replied when asked if Bajcetic was available to play. “With Stefan, it is a stress response, which is absolutely bad.
“So, he doesn’t feel a lot, it’s only a little bit but he is now out for I don’t know exactly how long. We have just to let it settle then and we will see when he can come back.”
The Liverpool boss then added: “[It’s] high up, around the adductor.”
Klopp also revealed that his side, who trail 5-2 in the tie, will also be without Jordan Henderson for the game. The Liverpool captain hasn't travelled with his side to Spain due to illness.
