Jurgen Klopp responds to repeated Liverpool transfer questions

Jurgen Klopp has again suggested that Liverpool will not be able to strengthen their squad further before the January transfer window closes.

The Reds boss took issue with being asked the Reds' couldn't bring in new players before his side's clash with Brighton, and was again asked about transfers following his side's dismal 3-0 loss on the South Coast.

And reiterating that his answer hasn't changed, he admitted that while he would like to bring in new players still, he explained why it is unlikely to be possible in January.

"It must be a language issue. It must be, that you ask these questions again and again and again," he told reporters. "I answered it already so often. We look outside as well. It's not that we are stubborn and think, 'That's it. We'll go with these boys until 2050.' That's not how we see it."

Jurgen Klopp shuts down FSG question

Jurgen Klopp says that he has spoken to Liverpool owners FSG about their search for new investment.

The Reds custodians confirmed in an official statement back in November that they were searching for new investors at Anfield, while it is believed they will also be open to a full takeover of the club.

With the transfer window open, there has been plenty of speculation regarding Liverpool's ownership in recent weeks with there plenty of rumours regarding potential interest from Qatar in recent weeks.

Off the back of such speculation, Klopp was asked if he'd spoken to Liverpool's owners about their ongoing search for new investment. And while the German confirmed he had held talks with FSG, he wasn't forthcoming with what such discussions entailed as he shut down the line of questioning.
