Jurgen Klopp sent 'massive' message as Anfield 'rule' revealed at Liverpool
Former Liverpool captain Phil Thompson has explained what was so 'unique' about his old club’s Boot Room and revealed the one 'rule' Ronnie Moran made everyone follow after matches.
A small meeting place underneath the Main Stand, the Boot Room is a famous room at Anfield where the coaching staff would meet to drink tea and discuss the team, tactics and ideas that shaped the club and created the backbone for success.
Bill Shankly’s arrival as manager in December 1959 was the catalyst for establishing a legendary lineage of Liverpool coaches and managers: Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan, Ronnie Moran, Sir Kenny Dalglish, Roy Evans: just some of the names to pass through the four walls of the now-famous Anfield room.

Naby Keita eyeing Champions League redemption as Liverpool issue addressed
There seemed no way back for Naby Keita the last time Liverpool lined up in the Champions League quarter-final.
The Guinean suffered the ignominy of being replaced three minutes before half-time at Real Madrid after the Reds had shipped two goals in their first leg in Spain, a deficit from which they were unable to recover.

Jurgen Klopp must start two Liverpool players in every game for rest of season
Liverpool will get their Champions League campaign back underway on Tuesday evening in Lisbon. Estádio da Luz is a great stadium. I loved the old stadium but this new one is beautiful. One of the best things I’ve ever seen is when the eagle flies around it at the beginning of the game. It’s absolutely magnificent, the way they do it.
It will be tough. Ajax went there and got what looked like a favourable draw, but Benfica beat them. When you get to the last eight of the Champions League it’s never going to be easy. The atmosphere will be great. The place will thrive on it. But Liverpool just need to try and get a draw or even a win to bring it back to Anfield and make it more comfortable. We’re well capable of doing that. I’ve said already that we’re not playing particularly well but we’re grinding results out.
