Liverpool FC murals have been damaged in Anfield ahead of the Liverpool vs Rangers game.
The offensive graffiti and damage to murals were reported at around 9am today, on Tuesday, October 2. One of the incidents includes blue paint being splattered on a Jurgen Klopp mural on Randolph Street.
The Klopp mural was commissioned by BOSS Night who teamed up with MurWalls. Lyrics from Klopp's song sung by fans have been scribed on the artistic tribute. The quote reads "y'know he said so" referencing Beatles classic 'I Feel Fine'.'

Murals of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson, also completed by MurWalls, have also been damaged. Merseyside police have confirmed that an investigation has been launched and officers are working with Liverpool FC officials to check CCTV and identify possible suspects.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We can confirm we are investigating offensive graffiti in Anfield and three murals that were damaged in the area. The report of the offensive graffiti was received at around 9am today, Tuesday 4 October on Randolph Street prior to the Liverpool v Rangers FC game this evening.
"Merseyside Police will not tolerate any form of offensive graffiti or vandalism and is working to identify and bring to justice anyone found responsible for committing these crimes. Officers are liaising with Liverpool Football club to obtain CCTV footage and identify any possible suspects.
