Jurgen Klopp believes Manchester City are favourites to win another Premier League title - and admits Liverpool face a "massive fight" to qualify for the Champions League this season.
The Reds finished a point behind City in another titanic title tussle last term, with only their championship win in 2020 preventing Pep Guardiola's side from claiming the crown an unprecedented five times in succession.
The duo have already issued their intent for the forthcoming campaign with the big-money signings of Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland.
And with Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United having also strengthened their squads over the summer, Klopp envisages an almighty scrap to ensure a top-four berth before thoughts even turn to threatening City's dominance.

Man City may have just given Liverpool a bigger transfer problem than Erling Haaland
The new Premier League season is less than two weeks away and promises to be one of the most competitive campaigns in recent years.
Liverpool have strengthened in the transfer market by recruiting Calvin Ramsay, Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho, while main title rivals Manchester City have signed Erling Haaland and Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
It's not only last year's top two who have made made encouraging acquisitions, however, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all adding quality into their groups.
