Liverpool's re-arranged Premier League meeting with Leeds United will now take place just four days before their Carabao Cup final with Chelsea.
The Reds were due to meet the Whites on Boxing Day, but due to a number of absentees within Marcelo Bielsa's camp, the match at Anfield was postponed.
The Premier League meeting between Liverpool and Leeds will now take place on February 23, with the Reds set to take on Chelsea just four days after, on February 27.
This will give the Blues a one-day advantage on Liverpool, with Thomas Tuchel's side due to take on Lille in the first-leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie on Tuesday, February 22.
One man this will definitely not please is Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who has been very vocal about the fixture congestion in England since taking over at Anfield in 2015.
However, every Premier League team has now been handed a two-week winter break, which is due to come to an end at the weekend, with the majority of sides in FA Cup action.
February 27 will be the latest edition of Klopp vs Tuchel, with the two German managers set to go head-to-head once again, but the Liverpool boss played down that narrative last month after the Reds progressed against Arsenal in the semi-final.
Klopp said: "I'm pretty sure the game [Carabao Cup final] will not be about two German managers but two really good football teams.
"We wanted desperately to go to the final, now it's Chelsea... fine. Let's give it a try."
Tuchel will be hoping he can secure his third major honour at Chelsea with a win at the end of February, while Klopp is going for his fourth since becoming Liverpool boss.
