Jurgen Klopp has doubled down on his praise of Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli.
The Arsenal youngster is into his third season in England but has showcased his star quality on a regular basis.
Mikel Arteta selected the Brazilian for the Carabao Cup semi-final, although the youngster was unable to help the Gunners overcome Liverpool.
Martinelli has shown a keen eye for goal, which has impressed Klopp in the past.
The 20-year-old was up against Trent Alexander-Arnold down the flanks and the Reds boss was keen to highlight his quality despite not being asked directly about the youngster.
He said post-match: "Martinelli by the way... everybody should remember that name. Outstanding player."
That echoes his previous sentiment, in which he has earmarked the Brazilian as a huge talent.
Back in 2020 Klopp said: "Martinelli's pretty much the same age but he's a talent of the century, he's an incredible striker, so it's really difficult."
Martinelli has scored 16 times in 68 outings for the north Londoners, four of which have come this season.
The youngster and his Arsenal teammates could not breach the Liverpool goal however whilst Diogo Jota scored twice for the visitors as they advanced to the Carabao Cup final.
The Portuguese star proved to be the difference across the two legs and Klopp hailed him as "world class".
He told Sky Sports: "The mood in the dressing room is over the moon. Difficult game, difficult time but the boys were exceptional.
"First half, Arsenal started lively, then we calmed it down, played good football and created plenty. Second half similar.
"We scored two wonderful goals, Diogo Jota on fire. We were completely convinced when he arrived at the club he would help us massively.
"Since he is here he has made another step, he has turned into a really world class striker."
Mikel Arteta however bemoaned his side's inability to take advantage of key moments.
He said: "We are really disappointed but we played against a top side. We had big moments in both halves and we have to score.
"We had chances and were pushing for the game but we have to convert if we were too beat a team like Liverpool.
"We have played the last three games with 10 men and at this level it is extremely difficult to win like that. I am proud of the boys and how committed they were without any training sessions."
