Liverpool secured a third successive victory when they came from behind to beat West Ham United on Wednesday evening.
Cody Gakpo and Joel Matip struck to wipe out Lucas Paqueta's opener as the Reds earned a 2-1 triumph. The result means Jurgen Klopp’s side still have a faint hope of Champions League qualification, although a European berth appears more likely.
But there was plenty that went unnoticed or under the radar during the 90 minutes at the London Stadium.

Klopp challenge
Jurgen Klopp was all smiles after the game with Liverpool having worked hard for a richly-deserved win, only their fifth on the road in this Premier League campaign.
But his mood was somewhat different when Paqueta blasted West Ham into the lead after his Reds side were cut apart far too easily down the right flank.
The Reds boss was raging at the lack of challenges, vigorously slapping his hands together repeatedly to make his point. Liverpool didn't make the same mistake again.
Moyes unimpressed
Fair to say West Ham were not a happy bunch at the final whistle, still irate at the failure of referee Chris Kavanagh or VAR to award a penalty after the ball struck the hand of a falling Thiago Alcantara.
Hammers boss Moyes strode up to the official and politely enquired as to what more needed to happen for his team to be awarded a spot kick.
However, some of his players were somewhat less restrained, with chimes of "f***ing hell" heard around the surprisingly chilly night air. Mind you, given what happened at Anfield in the reverse fixture in October, West Ham would probably have missed the penalty anyway.
Fan failure
The London Stadium may be good for holding athletic events but, when it comes to football, it remains deeply unloved. Indeed, with the stadium half-empty until mere minutes before kick-off, it seems many of the regulars want to spend as little amount a time in it as possible.
A handful, though, were quite happy to stick around afterwards. Far from being upset at the penalty decision, one home fan was more concerned with sprinting on to the pitch and asking for Virgil van Dijk's shirt.
He failed, as did the youngster who then attempted his own invasion only to fall flat on his backside before being dealt with by stewards, much to the delight of those who remained inside the stadium.
Chelsea chuckle
Never let it be said West Ham don't make a real effort to drum up some atmosphere in their cavernous home. From the obligatory bubbles, a pre-match light show to a pitchside DJ thumping out beats, there was at least some sense of occasion.
And nobody could question the stadium announcer, whose problems with pronouncing the names of some Liverpool players - he even questioned his own way of saying Diogo Jota - was more than atoned for by his sheer enthusiasm.
Plus it was impossible not to raise a smile when, on reading the half-time scores, he laughed at Chelsea being behind at home to Brentford. Excellent work, sir.
