Liverpool have landed in Bangkok today ahead of their friendly against Manchester United - and Jurgen Klopp could not resist a playful dig on arrival.
A press conference was held at the airport shortly after the Reds squad touched down for the first leg of their pre-season tour. United are already there after flying in on Friday. Liverpool manager Klopp was joined by James Milner and captain Jordan Henderson for the media session this morning.
But before any of the press could get a word in for the boss or his players, Klopp jumped in with his own teasing swipe: "First question I have...did it look like this yesterday when Manchester was here as well?" A few cries of "no, no" could be heard in response.

But both United and Liverpool were met by incredible scenes over the weekend, as hundreds of excited fans and plenty of cameras were in place at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports to greet each of the two English teams. The Reds take on their rivals at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, in a game which kicks off at 2pm UK time.
Speaking earlier on, Klopp said: "Thank you very much for the really warm welcome we received already. It's really nice. It's my first proper time in Thailand and I've heard so many good things about it.
"We look forward to the game obviously, and to have some time to spend in the city. We are here for all of you and we hope we can have a good time together, and tie the knot between us and our supporters here in Thailand a little bit more."
On the United clash, Klopp added: "Usually football matches are the most important thing for us. But in this specific case it's really more for the people.
"We have 37 players - all generations here - and we have to use all of them. The boys who were on international duty in the summer only arrived today pretty much. They cannot play too long but we will try to give them a few minutes as well.
"Manchester United. New manager. Trained a little bit longer than us. Not sure, but might be in a better situation in the moment. We see it as an important test because it's against United - and we don't play friendlies!"
