Confidence will be high among the Liverpool players as another Premier League fixture awaits Jurgen Klopp's side.
Newcastle United will become the latest team to visit Anfield on Wednesday evening, hoping to avoid a similar fate suffered by Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. The Cherries were outclassed in every department though played Liverpool at a rather unfortunate time, with a response likely from the hosts on the back of a dismal defeat to Manchester United.
The question for Klopp as his players prepare for the visit of the Toon Army is whether to tinker with the starting-eleven after such a dominant display at the weekend. With a quick turnaround on the horizon, the answer is likely to be a yes.

Alisson had very little to do against Bournemouth and is likely to be tested to a greater level against Eddie Howe's men, who snatched a late point against Wolves on Sunday afternoon courtesy of an Allan Saint-Maximin screamer. Trent Alexander-Arnold scored in last season's home fixture versus Newcastle with a strike similar to his sumptuous effort witnessed at the weekend and will continue to be an obvious name on the teamsheet given Calvin Ramsay's continued absence.
Andy Robertson could be one player rotated for this fixture, however, with Kostas Tsimikas available to come in for a first start of the campaign. In the centre of defence, it seems unlikely there will be much room for change with Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip still sidelined, meaning Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk will look to build on the recent clean sheet achieved.
Further up the pitch, Harvey Elliott will hope to continue his impressive form by earning a third consecutive start of the season. Jordan Henderson could make way for James Milner, meanwhile, in an attempt to keep things fresh in a position of the pitch that continues to be under the spotlight. With Klopp seemingly content with sticking to a 4-3-3 formation as opposed to a 4-2-3-1, Fabinho is the obvious candidate to occupy the third slot.
One player doing all they can to earn a first start in a Liverpool shirt is Fabio Carvalho, who opened his goalscoring account for the club when coming off the bench against Bournemouth. The former Fulham man has caught the eye when sent on by Klopp in the opening four league fixtures, though may struggle to displace Luis Diaz and Roberto Firmino after their standout performances.
Opting for the teenage star from the off could throw an unexpected surprise Newcastle's way, who may well have their new summer signing Alexander Isak leading the line. Darwin Nunez remains unavailable as the Uruguayan misses the final game of his three-match suspension.
