Arsenal are under investigation by the FA for the celebrations which broke out following Reiss Nelson's late winner against Bournemouth, football.london understands. The Gunners clawed back a lead in the dying embers of their clash with the Cherries courtesy of the 23-year-old's emphatic strike.
As Nelson's effort found the top-corner, the north London side's coaching staff and substitutes dispersed out of the dugout and joined the match-winning celebrations. Mikel Arteta, however, was one of the few club officials to not leave the technical area.
It's understood that Chris Kavanagh, the on-field referee, has reported these celebrations to the FA. And, the authorities are now believed to have opened an investigation, though it's not clear if Arsenal will receive a sanction of some sort.

Speaking after the game, Gary O'Neil admitted that he had no issue with the celebrations of Arsenal players and staff. The Bournemouth boss said: "I’ve no comment to make on what Arsenal did.
"I shook hands with Mikel, it was a game he needed to win and I needed something from it too. We went to battle and he came out on top. They scored the goal, so they can celebrate however they like."
But, the benchmark has been set by Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool supporters will be hoping to see a fair trial. In 2018, the Reds boss was fined £8,000 for admitting to a charge of misconduct from the FA after running on to the pitch at Anfield to celebrate Divock Origi's late winner in the Merseyside Derby.
The IFAB Laws of the Game state that those in the technical area 'must behave in a responsible manner' and 'must remain within its confines except in special circumstances, e.g. a physiotherapist/doctor entering the field of play, with the referee’s permission, to assess an injured player'.
