Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Mohamed Salah is not "100 per-cent right" after the Liverpool star was brought off injured during their crucial 2-0 victory over Brighton.
The Reds moved within three points of Premier League leaders Manchester City thanks to the win on the south coast and, although Salah scored his side's second goal of the afternoon from the penalty spot, the result was somewhat marred by him being substituted four minutes later in place of Diogo Jota.
Klopp was asked to give an early update on the 29-year-old's status post-match, with the Liverpool manager admitting to BT Sport: "We will see. He thinks it's not serious but we will see when he is sitting down.
"Something is not 100 per-cent right. We think it was the situation before when he hit the ball and got blocked, he went to shoot and got blocked.
"The foot got slightly over-stretched. We'll see."

While Salah's injury put a negative slant on Saturday's victory, the Reds recorded their ninth successive Premier League win and put the pressure back on table toppers City, who travel to play Crystal Palace on Monday evening.
Klopp is known to pour cold water on talk of a title race but with just 10 games remaining, the German is well aware that either his team or Pep Guardiola 's will become champions in May.
"No no no, we don't avoid calling it [a title race], it's not our job to call it like that," Klopp explained.
"It's always the same. City plays Monday and you expect them to win games.
"As long as we are behind them we do not feel the title race, the only thing we really feel is we want to win football games, as many as possible, and I can see that in the boys' faces and their body language, they're ready for that.
"This race doesn't have a name for us, we just want to win as many games as possible.
Meanwhile, captain Jordan Henderson similarly kept a lid on his assessment of the race, noting: "We speak about this every week but we are concentrating on ourselves and the next game.
"That has always worked really well for us."
Henderson added: "It is always pleasing to come away from home and get the three points. Brighton are a good footballing side. I know they've lost the last few but they are always dangerous.
"They've troubled us at times over the past couple of years so it was a really big game for us today and we delivered. We are delighted."
