Jurgen Klinsmann will take in Celtic's away clash with Kilmarnock later this month on an Oh scouting mission.
The forward joined Ange Postecoglou's team in January after impressing for Suwon Bluewings, and has managed to work his way into the South Korean national squad amid his Premiership beginnings. His nation have a new boss in Klinsmann, as he used him as a sub for South Korea in a 2-2 draw against Colombia last month as he won his second cap for his country. He also got on the pitch in their next game versus Uruguay.
Now the former Germany and Bayern Munich manager will travel to Scotland as he bids to get a closer look at his emerging star. He is also set for a meeting with Postecoglou during his visit to Scotland, as a statement from the South Korean FA reads: "Coach Jurgen Klinsmann will go to Europe on April 14 to meet and watch the players.
"His schedule will see him watch Son Heung-min for Tottenham Hotspur on the 15th, Oh Hyeon-gyu for Celtic on the 16th, Kim Min-jae for Napoli on the 18th.
"Lee Jae-seong for Mainz on the 22nd and Jung Woo-young for Freiburg on the 23rd. This will be to check the exact physical condition of the European Taegeuk Warriors.
"The coach will then return to South Korea to watch K-League games in May."
