Jurgen Klinsmann has issued a response to Carlos Queiroz after the Iran manager claimed comments made against his side were a "disgrace against football".
Klinsmann said that the former Manchester United assistant manager "fits really well with the national team and their culture" after a series of refereeing decisions in Wales' 2-0 loss to Iran on Friday.
The former United States manager was then criticised by Queiroz on Twitter, but the potential feud has been played down by Klinsmann, who spoke out about the altercation before Germany played Spain.

Klinsmann said: "He [Queiroz] took it completely wrong because what I described was the emotional impact that they have on the bench, the players jumping off, him constantly talking to everyone on the sideline. He took it the wrong way as he thought I criticised him which is not the case at all.
"It's not a problem at all and it's all good now."
When asked by Gary Lineker if he understood why Queiroz had taken offence to the comments, he replied: "Yeah maybe they took it wrong because in the back of their eyes they see me as the former US coach and feel provoked, it was not a provocation at all, it was just simply describing their emotional state on the bench and they're going to go into a nail biter now with the United States."
Following Iran's brilliant victory over Wales - which sets up a final group stage tie with USA that will decide who goes through the knockout stages - Klinsmann made a stir after the game though, saying: "Carlos fits really well with the national team and their culture, he failed in South America with Colombia and then failed to qualify with Egypt, and he came in right before the World Cup with Iran, where he worked for a long time.
"It is not by coincidence, it is part of their culture, how they play.
"They worked the referee. They work the linesman and fourth official, they are constantly in their ear. There were a lot of incidents we didn't see. This is their culture, they take you off your game."
Queiroz then replied in an explosive series of tweets: "Even not knowing me personally, you question my character with a typical prejudiced judgment of superiority.
"No matter how much I can respect what you did inside the pitch, those remarks about Iran culture, Iran national team and my players are a disgrace to football.
"At the same time, we just want to follow with full attention what will be the decision of Fifa regarding your position as a member of the Qatar 2022 technical study group. Because, obviously, we expect you to resign before you visit our camp."
