Jurassic World Dominion trailer sees dinosaurs take over the world in epic conclusion

Dinosaurs have conquered the world in the new trailer for Jurassic World Dominion, which also sees the return of franchise favourites and originals Laura Dern, Sam Neil and Jeff Goldblum.

The beasts are seen terrorising a European city, running alongside horses and attacking a plane in the trailer for the sixth instalment of the franchise.

Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, who starred in 1993's Jurassic Park, reunite as Dr Alan Grant, Dr Ellie Satler and Dr Ian Malcolm, and join forces with Chris Pratt's Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing.

The movie, to be released on June 10, follows 2018's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and 2015's Jurassic World.

Jurassic World first introduced Grady, an animal trainer, and Dearing, who ran the theme park where genetically engineered dinosaurs lived. The new film is being billed as the "epic conclusion to the Jurassic era".

Jurassic World Dominion takes place four years after Fallen Kingdom, when a number of prehistoric creatures were set free, and dinosaurs now live and hunt alongside humans.

A huge sea monster is seen pulling a ship into the ocean, dinosaurs race through a snowy landscape and city dwellers look on in terror as they face humungous predators.

In a voiceover, Dr Satler says: "Humans and dinosaurs can't coexist. We create an ecological disaster."

“We not only lack dominion over nature, we’re subordinate to it,” says Dr Malcolm.

Sam Neil returns as Dr Alan Grant, a role he first played in 1993's Jurassic Park (Universal Pictures)
