Juranovic Celtic transfer price tag revealed as Manchester United give move 'serious consideration'

Celtic are going to demand in excess of £15million if anyone comes officially calling for Josip Juranovic.

The Croatian international has been a standout for boss Ange Postecoglou since joining the Parkhead club last summer from Legia Warsaw. Earlier this transfer window, La Liga giants Atletico Madrid were linked with a big move but that rumour died down during July. Now The Daily Mail report Manchester United have him on their 'list of targets' ahead of the transfer deadline.

New Old Trafford manager Erik Ten Hag wants a new right-back this summer and it is reported that the Hoops star is one option being looked at. The report states 'United are now giving serious consideration to launching a move for Juranovic, who is likely to cost in excess of £15million.' They are not the only big name English side who are believed to hold an interest in the defender, with Chelsea also aware of the full-back.

He was on their radar earlier this summer when it appeared captain Cesar Azpilicueta would be leaving for Barcelona.

The Spaniard has since signed a new deal and it's not known whether or not boss Thomas Tuchel views right-back as a priority position.

Exits could beckon at Celtic before the end of the transfer window, with Christopher Jullien, Mikey Johnston, James McCarthy and Albian Ajeti all linked with leaving.
