Junior Certificate exam results will be announced next month, the State Examinations Commission has announced.
This year's results will be issued on November 23, over four months after the students started their exams. Pupils will be able to access their grades online from 4pm on results day.
The delay of the results, which are typically issued in mid-September, occurred partially due to difficulties in hiring exam correctors. Nearly 70,000 students, who were the first cohort to sit the Junior Certificate since 2019, were affected by the disruption.

Last week, Social Democrats TD Gary Gannon said on Twitter he had been informed that a review would take place on the recruitment of examiners to avoid similar delays in the near future. He said on Wednesday: “We are now almost midway through October and the Minister can only say that she expects to be given a date by the State Examinations Commission next week.
"The delay calls into question the government’s commitment to the Junior Cert exams.”
