DWP payments in July 2023
The Disability Cost of Living Payment, worth £150, is expected to be paid between June 20 and July 4, 2023. If you do not receive the payment but are expecting to, contact DWP from July 5 onwards.
You may be eligible for this payment if you receive the following benefits:
- Attendance Allowance
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance for adults
- Disability Living Allowance for children
- Personal Independence Payment
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
Benefit payments in July 2023
Unlike previous months, there are no bank holidays in July, so benefits will be paid as usual.
The frequency of payments varies based on the kind of benefit you receive:
- Attendance Allowance (usually every four weeks)
- Carer’s Allowance (weekly in advance or every four weeks)
- Child Benefit (usually every four weeks — or weekly if you’re a single parent, or you or your partner get certain benefits.)
- Disability Living Allowance (usually every four weeks)
- Employment and Support Allowance (usually every two weeks)
- Income Support (usually every two weeks)
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (usually every two weeks)
- Pension Credit (usually every four weeks)
- Personal Independence Payment (usually every four weeks)
- State Pension (usually every four weeks)
- Tax credits, such as Working Tax Credit (every four weeks or weekly. Check your payment date if you’re paid every four weeks.)
- Universal Credit (every month)

July state pension payments will not be delayed by any bank holidays.
The date you get paid your state pension depends on the last two digits of your National Insurance number:
- 00 to 19 (Monday)
- 20 to 39 (Tuesday)
- 40 to 59 (Wednesday)
- 60 to 79 (Thursday)
- 80 to 99 (Friday)
