Julia Fox has insisted that her ex-boyfriend Kanye West "wouldn't hurt a fly".
The Uncut Gems actress, 32, jumped to Kanye's defence after he was banned from Instagram for "hateful" comments.
Kanye - who split from Julia last month after a short-lived romance - has put his ex-wife Kim Kardashian on blast in recent weeks and has continued to slam her new boyfriend, Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.
The 44-year-old rapper has also furiously targeted Pete, 28, in two new music videos to his track Eazy, in which he raps about 'beating' the SNL comedian.
The shocking music video depicted Kanye burying Pete alive, and the second saw an animated Pete get brutally attacked by a monkey.
Following the controversial music videos, Kanye's ex-girlfriend Julia has defended the rapper - insisting that he's a gentle soul.
Julia told TMZ: “Kanye’s harmless. I just think that’s his artistic creative expression.
“I know it’s aggressive, but I think if it really came down to it, I don’t think Kanye would hurt a fly.”
Earlier this week, Kanye was temporarily suspended from Instagram after violating the site’s policies.
The rapper has fired several shots at estranged wife Kim and her new beau Pete on the platform in recent weeks and took aim at the likes of Trevor Noah on Wednesday.
And it seemed that enough is enough for Meta, who owns the outlet.
A spokesperson for the company told TMZ that the Gold Digger singer had violated Instagram's policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying with his latest outbursts.
As a result, he was reportedly suspended from his account for 24 hours, during which time he won't be able to post, comment or send direct messages.
His latest attacks saw him repeatedly throw racial slurs towards Trevor Noah.
Kanye, who split from Kim, 41, in February last year has sent a barrage of abuse to Kim's new man in recent weeks too and has labelled him 'Skete'.
On Wednesday, he outrageously claimed he feared SNL comedian Pete could lead to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star getting 'hooked on drugs'.
Kanye and Kim share kids North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago, and the singer wrote on Instagram : "Im really concerned that SKETE will get my kids mom hooked on drugs He’s in rehab every 2 months."
